Learning Topics

I start with listening to where you are, and your visions for the future. I work with you on priorities for training topics, integration into your existing schedules, and how to format learning sessions with follow up, debriefs, and/or bridges for ongoing implementation.

Consider who you are and who you serve.  Topics below can be tailored and combined to fit your organizational needs.  What will support you in a climate of change and opportunity?

We are all immersed in layers of historical, racialized, intergenerational, and current trauma.  This impacts our abilities to access our capacities and gifts in our workplace and our lives.  This offering, which is framed within Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness practices, helps open faculties for deep inclusion, starting with understanding our stages of arrival, in all our diversities, so we can meet where our shared work is.

For human serving agencies who help to create spaces for sustainable transformation in those you serve. This offering intersects the principals of harm reduction with architectures of thriving, creating conditions for a felt-sense of the pathways that connect aspirations and visions with foundational ecosystems of care.

Research shows that in escalated situations, step-by-step interventions are rarely used by workers.  Instead, the culture of the agency contributes to workers “instinctive responses.”  This offering explores creating foundational transformative partnerships, shifting lenses from duality to enrichment, and building safety and support based on mutual discovery.

Recognition of the harms of systemic and colonized is one step into opportunity. This offering moves the developmental stages of understanding bias, microaggressions, invisibility, privilege, and shame into the languages and actions of becoming more than the sum--in a gathering of ancestors, imagination, artistry, and powerful heart-spaces.

There are infinite ways of being, expressing, and interacting as a human with all living beings.  And so much more than just "acceptance!"  This offering explores the delight and mystery that can arrive when invitation meets humility, and how to bring courage in your honoring of that which you don't yet understand as you build a vibrant relational culture.

At the crossroads of world-impacting pandemic, violence,  and climate change, fear-based helplessness and health impacts are in our every day. This offering explores motivation and effectiveness while metabolizing the truths we are facing. It includes uplifting agency, communications and voice, expanding partnerships and community, innovation, and fun!
